Yup. One day I normally turned it on, it goes to the Windows XP loading screen, then a half second blue screen pops up and my computer restarts. I tried it again and the same thing keeps happening. Thoughts? Also no Mario Paints for awhile.

Virus? Either that, or the OS got corrupted or something got messed up in the startup. Try inserting the windows cd into the cd drive so it will boot up from there.

This happened to me not to long ago. I was just restarting with no prior failures or anything and the screen came up. Then it told me to pick an OS out of a list of 1. So I did, I chose Vista, and it would just pause at a certain point when loading the drivers. I tried this repeatedly, and the same result every time.
When I took it in, they said apparently, my OS got disconnected from my computer some how. They said that all I had to do was insert that CD that came with the computer, what Rehd is talking about, and it would be fine. I did, boom, back to normal.
I had been playing around with a magnet earlier, so I think that might have been it. Yay me!

I had been playing around with a magnet earlier, so I think that might have been it. Yay me! The same thing is kind of happening to me on our old computer. I turn it on and it shows the Windows logo before turning into a blue screen with the saying that Windwos has shut down. I have no idea how to fix it. The worst part is that my parents don't know it's broken...

Computers don't like you If you don't think trying to get it to work is going to work, then yeah, just reinstall the OS. (but you'll lose everything)

Dunno if this will help in any way or not, just thought I'd throw it out there. When my dad's old computer broke, he salvaged the hard drive before ditching the computer, and then bought some sort of hard drive reader so that he could transfer the files to his new computer. Although, it was Windows 97... so of course he was going to ditch it at some point... ;D But I would say go with what the others have said. Not sure ditching your computer would go down well, even if it is as bad as you suggest...

You might just have to delete everything off the computer and re-install everything.
That's what I had to do to my brothers computer.

Well, I brought it to the place that made the computer (its custom made) and they said I had a bunch of virus on it, so they said that I have to reinstall Windows itself. Bye bye everything on my computer. T_T
