For some reason, WMM refuses to import any of the songs I've downloaded recently. It freezes up and resets whenever I try. I've even had Banjario (the one who has recorded my latest three videos) use both MediaFire and Megaupload to upload the movie files, just to make sure the uploading process wasn't glitching on one of the sites. All of the videos I've downloaded before March still can be imported, but my latest three refuse to import. Any help debugging WMM would be greatly appreciated. A link to any other free programs that can let me loop videos and trim parts off would also be very helpful.

My WMM still works, I could do it for you if you want. THough when i save the finalized work, the quality is cut down a bit.

That's strange. Maybe the new files use a different codec, or perhaps a new version of a codec you already have?

I suggest the SUPER (C) video/audio converter (you have to click many times to download it, but it's worth it), and even though it may have some errors at times, it still works well.

I agree with RehdBlob.
I use SUPER (C) for my videos, so all you have to do is make sure they're wmv. Well anyway if that doesn't work I used to use QMC (Quick Media Converter) which seems to work just as good if not better. Only reason I quit is that every 7 or so uses it goes bat-shit on you.
