I've played a bit of GH and Rock Band in my day. Although surpased in skill by Brian LED, I can beat every expert guitar song on Rock Bands 1 and 2 and am working on drums (expert, but can't beat all). Prehaps my greatest feat is memorizing the notes to "When You Were Young" on guitar, both Rock Band and GH3 versions.

Don't get me started on this.
A couple weeks ago I 5 starred Visions on expert guitar. It is the absolute apocalypse on steroids that are on steroids on Rock Band 2. It's probably just as hard as Through the Fire and Flames.
I also own lots of other GH/RB games, including the Metallica version where I can make my own custom songs. Miracle Matter is fun to play, I'll tell you that.

I have every Guitar Hero game avalible for Wii. (Metalica kicks ass!)
I don't have any Rock Band games.
And my DS is too poor to play any of the On Tour games, so I don't have any of those.

I have GH2 and GH:WT for PS2. I can do guitar on expert on GH2 on all songs except Jordan, and I can do hard/expert guitar, med/hard drums (although I can do some songs on expert), and hard vox on GH:WT.
It's kinda dumb that PS2 doesn't have any Internet capabilities, or I'd be on there like 24/7 and giving my FC to everyone... I only got GH:WT for PS2 because I found the Full Band Box online refurbished for like $80, and because it's refurbished, the touch strip on the guitar sometimes "overheats" and becomes unusable, the drums are incredibly shaky and not always responsive, and the microphone gets so much static it's practically unusable... I guess you get what you pay for...

If you could help it, you should get Guitar Hero and Rock Band on the PS3 or 360 instead of the Wii. As good as the Wii version is, it's severely underpowered when compared to the 360 and PS3 versions. |
