Hey everyone, I'm going to try to implement a better schema for working on collabs. Right now, we have a pretty active userbase on Skype, which means that most of the coordination will be done there. But the forums provide a really nice platform for just seeing how things are going. Therefore, I will keep a list of active collab'ers right here. Message whenever you are available on Skype so we can put you into a time slot, or we can figure something out. Post here if you want in on the compositions! The new schema involves a sort of a 'pool' of available composers who will work on a set of songs that are also available. Updated: Added Rare Medley and Mega Man Medley. The clock starts ticking now! Let's get stuff done!
Anyways, my proposal is that future CC's will work like such:
1) Someone gets the files for some community composition.
2) Said person makes their part.
3) While that person is making their part, others who are available queue up to receive files.
4) Person finishes part, and hands it off to the next available person. They also specify whether they think the song might be headed towards an ending point, so that the next in line might be able to make an ending.
5) Repeat.
Another note:
If someone wants to start a song, then they make a starting file, and see if anyone else is ready to continue off of their part. I won't limit the number of starting files for now, but let's try to keep it under a sensible number, like 5 CC's for original compositions...
Video game music medleys and / or collaborations on songs like the Call Me Maybe collab work similarly...
How does that sound?

Good plan. Definitely best to keep a record on the forum for easy reference rather than having to try to trawl through hundreds of skype messages. Can't wait to hear CC14!

Gallahaut is now not necessarily starting CC15 (he has time over this weekend) so if anyone wants to make a part to start it now, now is your chance.
