Haha, I've taken a LOT of theory!!! That and it's something I really, really like, so I'm constantly exposing myself to it. XD Seriously, ask me anything. lol jk

No books, no musical family, no lessons...
I learned theory by pressing buttons on a piano until it sounded right.

I have been playing the piano for over twenty years. I have a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in music education and piano performance. I have taken a slew of music theory courses, including written theory, aural theory, sight-reading, sight-singing, arranging (choral and instrumental), history, conducting, composition and transcription. My earliest work with Nintendo MIDI transcriptions can be found on vgmusic.com, as early as 1998. I've been working with Mario Paint since 1992.

If any of you have any questions about ANYTHING music (especially music theory-related), don't hesitate to ask! Teaching others about music is my career, and I am very excited about it!

Wow, I didn't really expect anyone to have that much experience on here. I only have a couple semesters under my belt at the moment. It's exciting to have someone with as much knowledge as you reply.
