Yep, you won't get a Water Stone until you explore the Seafoam Islands. That's how I got my Poliwrath =P Actually, you can get a Water Stone a little earlier by "purchasing" it at the Pokeathlon on one day of the week. Yeah, I got it at the Pokeathlon, for 2500 AP. I also got a Metal Coat for my Scyther (Now a Scizor via trading with my Diamond then trading back). I'm oh so slow at this game, and I haven't made much progress. I also replaced my Vaporeon for a Gyarados. I also regret giving U-Turn to Pidgeotto so early, as now I have to wait till the Battle Frontier to get another for my Scizor  . Pidgeotto Lvl 31 (U-turn, Twister, Fly, Roost Quilava Lvl 31 (Ember, Flame Wheel, Swift, Strength) Gyarados Lvl 31 (Bite, Dragon Rage, Surf, Twister) Weepinbell Lvl 31 (Vine Whip, Sleep Powder, Acid, Cut) Scizor Lvl 31 (Wing Attack, Slash, Pursuit, False Swipe) Alakazam Lvl 33 (Shadow Ball, Psybeam, Disable, Recover) I'm gonna definitely switch out Pidgeotto with Dratini, Quilava for Zapdos, and Weepinbell for Shroomish. Alakazam is still a big question mark, as I'm really considering switching it with a Azelf, but I'm not sure . |

Got this game yesterday. Here are my stats: 7 badges, just beat Team Rocket on my way through the ice cave. Feraligatr Lv 39 Pidgeot Lv 38 Alakazam Lv 39 Need help catching Entai. It health is in the critical range and I can put to to sleep easily, but I'm running out of ultra balls and it keeps escaping. Will paralysis work better than sleep? Get a Ghastly, train it until it learns Mean Look. That should stop it from fleeing. |

Dunsparce just hit level 100 after laying the beat down on Red. After I beat the Elite 4 a second time my Dunsparce solo run will be complete

I don't get EVs and IVs either =P As far as I'm concerned, it's just too much work to figure it all out [/lazy]. Also, team update: Arcanine Lv. 60 (ExtremeSpeed, Thunder Fang, Flamethrower, Fire Blast) Gonna replace Fire Blast once I get a good TM such as Aerial Ace. Poliwrath Lv. 54 (Surf, Rock Climb, Mind Reader, DynamicPunch) Had to replace Body Slam w/ Rock Climb temporarily for Mt. Silver >_> Meganium Lv. 51 (Light Screen, Razor Leaf, Frenzy Plant, Body Slam) No changes yet, lol Golem Lv. 59 (Stone Edge, Earthquake, Explosion, Strength) No changes here either, lol Salamence Lv. 66 (Dragon Pulse, Dragon Claw, Fly, Crunch) Still debating on what to replace Dragon Pulse with (leaning towards Flamethrower) Dialga Lv. 52 (Flash Cannon, AncientPower, Dragon Claw, Roar of Time) He's just filling the spot until I can get something else, lol. |

Yes, quite that. It is very time consuming, and it kinda takes the fun out of it for me since you're so powerful and whatnot. *likes challenging games where you can lose*
There is only one Pokemon I'd even consider training in the competitive battling style, and that would be Pikachu, because I loves mah Pika. :3
