Hey guys, I've made a really, really rough soundfont featuring mellotron and stylophone for a top secret project (shhhh!).
I was just wondering if there's any interest in a soundfont like this. If so I'd be happy to add more sounds i.e. mellotron flutes/voice, as well as stylophone with vibrato. I'd polish it up, and release it here after I'm finished with Space Odd...errr my top-secret project.

I feel proud of myself for knowing what a stylophone is, but what is a mellotron? And I see the word space in your secret project... I don't know if you could find a way to put a theremin sound into a soundfont but that would be amazing! (Preferably with and without vibrato)

I don't know if you could find a way to put a theremin sound into a soundfont but that would be amazing! (Preferably with and without vibrato) The mellotron is a "organ-like" musical instrument that was invented in the 1960s. It plays by having a giant strip of magentic tape for each key of the instrument, that contains the sound. When you press a key it plays the tape. The mellotron is now considered to be a very primitive sampling device. It's most well known for being used in The Beatles' "Strawberry Fields Forever" (As soon as the music video starts you can hear it's "flute" voice playing) www.youtube.com/watch?v=-7NoOhmVMacFor more reading: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MellotronMr. Sub understands, as he's a brit. The mellotron and the stylophone both come from the UK, as well as my top secret project . P.S. "Space" wasn't the only word I gave as a hint, there are 1 and 1/2 words.
