I was working on a song just now using Cat's Real Soundfont, and I realized that I needed a rock organ instead of a church organ and I need it to loop for a long time. Since I found out I can't request a soundfont, I figured I'd just make it myself, but I have a question about it. Is there a way to import the existing real soundfont to viena, then meddle with just a single instrument? Any help is appreciated.

Yeah, you need to open the real soundfont in Viena and then delete preset 13 (the car, as it goes in order) then you'd need rock organ samples to put on the car. But you can also import a rock organ from balloons Hard Rock 2 soundfont, as the car in that is a good rock organ. There are plenty of videos on YT that show you how to do this.  |

Thanks. My question was more about how to import soundfonts, but I just figured it out. idk how I didn't think to click open file instead of looking under "file" at the top  ... All the youtube vids I saw were just about starting from scratch, not about editing existing soundfonts. Still, the hard rock 2soundfont does have an awesome rock organ. Sorry for double posting but I need to bump because I have a new question.
Is there a way to increase the volume of a single audio file/instrument/preset in viena? I've tried adjusting the volume knob on the audio sample screen but it doesn't let me save afterwards. Alternativeely, does anyone know where to find a loud vibraphone wav file?

Make your instrument as normal, then right click on the preset and press "Add new preset layers", now just add more of the same instrument you've used on this preset to make it louder.

There's also an instrument swap feature in AMS if you're too lazy to use Viena, like me.  |
