Maybe I'm not looking in the right spots, but I'm not seeing anything on to actually cut soundfonts' sounds short. Can anyone help me out?

Note: Cutting off notes with the low A glitch does not work with the coin or boo. Those two instruments are set to sustain even as other pitches of the same instrument are playing. The only way to silence a coin/boo instrument is by turning down the volume control (green bars under each beat on MPC) wherever you'd like the instruments pitch to stop.
Make sense?

I mean that when I download any soundfont, that all of the sounds sound WAY too long to actually use in a song. Is this the trick you use to make it sound correct? I was seeing something about using soundfont sound managers or something like that...

That's the whole point of this "Low A Glitch;" the LOONG sounds are cut short, which makes them usable. The sound starts at the regular note, and stops at the glitch note.

What Rehd said. And by "soundfont sound manager," you may possibly be referring to Viena? Viena is an actual soundfont editing program used by many members here. But that's a different topic
