Hey now, I liked Sonic Rush.
I hated SRA though, too much of trying to be like Phantom Hourglass, and not as fun either.
I was also a big fan of the 3-D games, save the sh!tty camera angles. This might fall under meh for me.

Agreed.
I don't hate SRA, but I don't think it's as good as Sonic Rush or LoZ: Phantom Hourglass.
I lost interest in the 3D Sonic games after Shadow (what a flop it was, too). I was a fool for getting Sonic and the Secret Rings. And, yeah, the camera angles didn't help much, either.
I've got high hopes for this new 2D Sonic game. I'm hoping it'll be much more like the original Mega Drive/Genesis Sonic games.

I am really happy SonicTeam decided to return Sonic to his 2D roots, and now in HD!! Hopefully this game captures the magic that came with Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2, 3 & Knuckles on Sega Genesis/Mega Drive.

This could be interesting. Hopefully it's a throwback (or at least stylized like) to the older games, like Megaman 9 was for the MM series.

Hopefully Where have I heard this before? Maybe I heard it from people after EVERY sonic game past '06 was announced? Stop buying sonic games, you're only giving sonic team more money to make more crappy games. |

There's really not enough information given. And "HD" makes it sound... well... it kind of puts my hopes down a few notches. I hope it just means High Definition 2.5D or something. I don't know what to think about this. Let's hope it steps away from this:  |
