Great...I can't narrow a list down to 25...and even if I can do that I can't list them in order...
I'll try :/
1) Pokemon Silver - The first game I owned. Brought me into the Pokemon world.
2) Crash Bandicoot Warped: First game I beat (
); one of the best video game sequels ever; tons of hours spent playing.
3) Tetris - First game I played. Was it not for this game, this list would probably not exist.
4) Tomba! 2: The Evil Swine Return - Wonderfully creative, tons of hours spent trying to beat. So unique too; I haven't met a single person that has played this game.
5) Super Mario Sunshine: First game I 100% Great on the eyes, ears, and nerves
6) Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations - Wonderful story, wonderful characters, and wonderful soundtrack.
7) Bioshock - A game that was truly epic; suspenseful, tragic, humorous; a game that showed that games can be art masterpieces as well as fun, killing simulations
8) Super Mario Land 2: Six Gold Coins - OH MY GOD. First game I bought (garage sale) and brought me into the world of Mario. VERY CATCHY MUSIC *starts humming8
9) Halo series - 1 for story, 2 for local parties, 3 for online. Each made me want to make video games the more and more I played.
10) Super Mario 64 DS - I never owned the 64 version, so when I got my DS and the game, I decided it would be fun to play. I was right. ^_^
11) Spyro the Dragon: EPICNESS WRAPPED WITH A TORTILLA OF SWEETNESS. Very funny and creative, wonderful music, and challenging puzzles (I just 100% this game last week
)
12) Pokemon Yellow - I. LOVE. PIKACHU.
13) Hot Shots Golf - The first game I woned that had a multiplayed function. This game was what got my brother and sister into video games as I forced them to play with/against me (you're welcome
)
14) Ms. Pac-Man Maze Madness - Same reason as above, but they brought me into the game. I never knew an old arcade game could have such a great story.
15) Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker - Honestly, this is the only Zelda game I've actually played. And boy was this game fun.
16) Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory - Man did this game kick ass. This game made me want to climb buildings, scare the crap out of people during the night, and hack into computers.
17) Crash Team Racing - First racing game I owned. This came out when Crash was at its peak, and this game in my eyes was WAY BETTER than Mario Kart 64. There were more tracks, more characters, more items, and a sweet soundtrack. It was like racing through the first three games while combining the fun of them all.
18) Super Mario Galaxy - Probably the most innovative of the games I've listed. It made the flicking of a wirst able to take out Bowser and pals. Gusty Garden will also never leave my mind.
19) Half-Life 2 - Man was this the epitome of Epic Storytelling. It had humor, action, horror (curse you Ravenholm!!) and science fiction rolled up into a grade A game.
20) Metroid Prime - the first Metroid game I played. It was probably the best looking game on the GC (behind RE4), combining everything that made the Metroid series so popular and turning it into 3D.
21) Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Cornered was what brought me into the series, and the characters and story kept me in it.
22) Mario and Luigi series - The first two are equal in my eyes. It had memorable characters taking on new characters in an ever-growing world. Open gameplay, hilarious dialogue, a catchy soundtrack, and a revolutionary battle system make this forever memorable.
23) Super Smash Bros. Melee - Talk about hours of hours of gameplay. It had all of Nintendo's finest beating the crap out of one another. And violence makes the world go round!
24) Doom 3 - I never really played the first two until I bought this game. This game scared the living crap out of me. I'm pretty sure the constant fright this game gave me took off a few months of my life. Thank you Doom 3. I'll never forget you for that
25) Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Srtikes Back - I loved this game so much that I pretended I was Crash running around my yard collecting crystals and gems. It's a shame I never got to 100% it, but if I could get my hands on it again, I would play that until I pretend all over again.
*Whew* That list now makes me want to play every single game again. I won't be around for the next four months now
