I have a soundfont that I might release, but only if there's enough support! It's just a small edit, but it's awesome nonetheless.
It's the Orchestral soundfont with a timpani from Symphony with raised volume.
Yay loud timpani!
If I don't release it publicly, I will just PM it to people individually.

It's not worth making public. It's just an edited soundfont that anyone can figure out with ease. And besides...I like the mushrooms Satoshi had in Orchestra Extend 1.08 already! >  |

It's not all that challenging, and it looks much better than going around begging people for either the soundfont that they made in all of 3 minutes or expecting them to drop what they're doing and making this or that combination soundfont (I.E. instruments from X and instruments from Y make SF XY) |

Basically, you go into instruments select the instrument you want to add to, right click and select New Instrument Splits, or just select, and press Ctrl+S. Look for the instrument you're adding to, and check all of the samples within that instrument's section. Click ok, and it should have doubled what was already in there. Hope that made sense. |

Or click on the present, right click and select "New Present Layers" and select your instruments.
But their right, I did type up for you what you need to do to combine soundfonts. I don't want my block of text to go to waste (It took two comments to type up). Or did you not bother reading it? >_>

I do agree with Tiger in the sense that I would say that people should learn to edit their own soundfonts instead of begging for soundfonts that people made in all of three minutes. But I would say that in the time being until EVERYONE learns to edit their own soundfonts, people are still free to request/ask.
In releasing the soundfont itself, I best not make it public. This is because it would be good for only a few people that can not make a quick soundfont like this in a very short period of time.
So, I decide "No", I won't make it public, but people can ask for this soundfont in a PM.

I am saddened by your decision. That SoundFont is so vital to everything. I mean, it's just such hard thing to accomplish. That one change is so vital. It will be so useful to everyone. There are just so many songs that use it that it would be hard to go without. The universallity of this Soundfont is unrivled. You sir would be a GOD if you released it.

My question is "Should I release this". Because some people don't know how to make soundfonts and they might want this. Two people have already PM'd me, requesting it. |

No. It would be stupid and selfish to release a (very) slightly modified version of Cat's Real 2.0 then claim it as your own. If someone wants the soundfont then just PM it to them.

I will not claim it as my own. Soundfonts like these don't deserve their own videos. What I meant by "release" was post a megaupload link on the MPH itself. My question is "Do enough people want it?" not "Should I release this mega soundfont?". |
