I hope this is the right forum for this...
I think many people here already noticed that the higher you make a note on MPC the shorter it gets. I'm currently working on a composition that almost only uses the strings from the Real Soundfont. Therefor I changed several of the instruments to those strings. Some of theme were lowered one octave, but I already had to raise one of them by one octave, but not it's WAY too short. Is there anything you can do to make it longer without actually using another sample?

Hmm, I think you can mess with the wave data in the Instruments section and see where that gets you. To access that, you need to open the drop down menu for an instrument and select the sample from that menu. You could also look at other SF's with long held notes for reference.

What I usually did when that happened was to duplicate the current sample, and add a split at the note right under the note that has the first sign of clipping. Then, I would modify/add a loop point. But that's probably not what you're after...
