***NOTE: I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO MODIFY SOUNDFONTS MYSELF, I JUST FELT THAT THERE WAS A NEED FOR A THREAD LIKE THIS***
Have you ever encountered a problem when doing a complex song in Mario Paint when a note falls out of range? Don't have the time to learn how to modify the sound font yourself?
In this thread, you simply request a modified version of an existing Mario Paint Composer sound font. You can also request a sound font with instruments from different sound fonts.
If you are requesting a modified version of an existing sound font, please specify which soundfont you want modified.
Example 1:
I would like a modification of Cat333Pokemon's Real Soundfont where Yoshi is the Shy Guy raised an octave?
Example 2:
Can anyone make me this custom sound font?
Mario - Orchestral Mario Mushroom: Symphony Mushrooms Yoshi: Real Yoshi Star: Real Star Flower: Orchestral Flower Game Boy: Electronica Gameboy Dog: Orchestral Dog Cat: Real Dog Pig: Real Dog raised two octaves Swan: Symphony Swan Face: Electronica Face Plane: Symphony Plane Boat: Orchestral Boat Car: Real Car Heart: Real Heart with raised volume Plant: Symphony Shy Guy raised two octaves Coin: Real Coin Shy Guy: Symphony Shy Guy, no octave changes Boo: Symphy Shy Guy lowered two octaves.
Have fun!

Sorry for Double Post:
After a guy has posted his request, another person who can make a custom soundset for that guy will fulfill that request and post the download link (Don't expect anything from me)
Example:
mariopainter1: I would like to have a modified version of the orchestral soundfont where the shy guys are the symphony shy guys.
soundsetmaker2: I made it! Download link: something.com[slash]13122

Guess I can help anyone who makes a request here. OR RATHER, I can explain how simple it is for someone to make it themselves.

^ I guess so. But you've got to admit, MANY people don't know how to and would rather post requests in a thread like this.
Regardless, thanks balloon =P

No, I'm saying it's simple. Just change the root key # of the instrument you want to change in the instruments level.
-12 = Octave Higher +12 = Octave Lower

Delay is trying to get users to make soundfonts by themselves instead of just mooching off of other peoples' services, I think. To be frank, I am not quite sure I like this thread much at all. MPC is a multifunctional tool, and while some people see the use of any soundfonts (one of the aforementioned tool's uses) as 'cheating', they are ignoring the fact that MPC is as hard to use as any MIDI/music arranger. However, when you have to run to find someone who knows how to plug in whatever accessories in you need to achieve that function of the tool -- when we look at the literal case, making customized soundfonts for others' exclusive use -- you deserve every comment complaining about your soundfont usage that comes your way. Yes, I am excepting Cat, Satoshi, and everyone like them, because these SF creators aren't being ordered around by someone who doesn't think that he or she can be bothered to learn how to use Viena. I couldn't even do it, only two days before my soundfont was complete; we all know how that turned out.
