You think you could quiet down the boat a bit, too? It's overpowering in a lot of songs. Hmm...lowering the volume isn't very easy. I'll see what I can do, though.

I love the volume of the boats. They're great for songs with prominent percussion (very handy in Great Cave Offensive's Main Theme, as well as Factory Inspection).

I can't wait. ^^ I love both the Real and Symphony soundsets.
I agree with upping the volume for the toads and bass, but I like the snare the volume it is.

The bass on Real was a little too acoustic and soft, so I'm glad you're looking into making it more powerful.

A slap bass would come in handy for Together We Ride..

Oh, wow, a third?!?! Cat, you're too kind... Do you think you could sustain a few of the notes a little longer? I'm looking mainly at the trumpet, the sax and the flute. But meh, it's not terribly important, but it would be a nice addition.

Flute sustain w/o Vibrato would be epic win.

What kind of slap bass are you planning to add? Is it a low bass or a high bass?

Raise Toad volume? Can do!
Remove vibrato on trumpet? Done! The new sample has far less.
Increase duration? Done on some!
What type of slap bass? A little lower than the old one.

Oh, I also replaced some of the acoustic guitar with better samples and raised the volume.

PLEASE CHANGE THE BASS DRUM! The old one was better! I can barely hear it, and when I do, it doesn't sound that good

sooooo where is version 3.0? 2.0 was for MPC 2, there will be no 3.0 Besides this is a horribly old thread. EDIT: Well there were plans for 3.0 but it seems Cat got rid of the idea.

No, I didn't get rid of the idea. I just can't seem to get it to drop below 70 MB. Heh, if I feel lazy, I might just release it like that.
