it doesn't work for me either... i changed it to soundset3.sf2 like it's supposed to be... i think it doesn't like .rar format... any suggestions?

I assume you extracted the file first? .rar is an archive file, like a .zip. You shouldn't have to change the file extension... if you're changing it from .rar to .sf2, you're doing it incorrectly.

rarlab.com/rar/wrar390.exe is a program that can recognize .rar archives.
