I'm not a Pokemon fanboy, or even a fan really.. but for you good fans out there, I have a question: is this REALLY better than this?

In the sense that Pokemon Stadium is (as the review states) simple RPG battle mechanics, and that Pokemon Snap is more of an attempt to render the Pokemon world fans know and love into a living, breathing entity -- and doing pretty well with it -- then yes, I would agree that it is. This assumes that you're a fan of the games in general -- people who only care about the battles, well, you'll prefer Stadium.
Personally, I think that if there's another Stadium/Colosseum game, they should animate better -- a thunderbolt is actually seen coming from one Pokemon and striking another in the same shot, a tackle actually hits the target instead of running forward and what must be air hitting the opponent. That was my main gripe with Stadium, that it's quite a direct port of the battling in the series (literally, consider the games: a tackle consists of... the attacker moving forward a little bit). And while that's a great concept and all, it seems... shallow. That's like making a Final Fantasy game with no story -- you're taking the main element of the game out (collection and raising of different species in Pokemon).

Huh. I played through the game a little bit. There were gym battles and some sort of mountain I think. I just assumed that was the story. It might be pretty poorly rendered but it was pretty entertaining for the most part. I thought Pokemon Snap was a joke

Pokemon Snap is better then Pokemon Stadium. Pokemon Stadium is pretty much the same thing as Pokemon Battle Revolution, a 3D Pokemon Battle Simulator. While Pokemon Snap is original and is probably the best Pokemon Spinoff ever.

Better then Hey You, Pikachu? Yes, and better then Pokemon Ranger. Maybe not Pokemon Mystery dungeon, I dunno. But Pokemon Snap was pretty awesome.

Pokemon Snap is awesome, but it was very short. With 450+ Pokemon, wouldn't now be the best time for a sequel?

Pokémon Snap was my very first Pokémon game. If I can find it, I need to play through that again. It was so fun to play when I was only in 1st or 2nd grade.

I have 2 copies of Pokemon Snap, idk why. I liked Pokemon Snap better than Stadium and Stadium 2, although I did like the minigames.

As far as pokemon goes, my favorite games are snap and gold. Gold because it was my first video game, and snap because.....well I was a huge pokefreak when I was younger. I loved taking pictures of pokemon!!!!

See, I really liked Snap. I spent a lot of my time, though, trying to perfect my score for Mew. ;P And I'm back to Victory Road in Pokemon Yellow! =D I've missed that game...
