Any suggestions for good LPers? I'm trying to subscribe to more but I don't know who to subscribe to. Here are the ones I have right now: -Desceasedcrab: ...yeah -raocow: Good romhack LPs and very random commentary -xitstyler: Sarcastic, biting commentary and lots of failure -HCBailly: Again, ...yeah Whom do you watch/recommend (if you watch LPs)?

HellfireComms www.youtube.com/user/HellfireCommsThese guys aren't really LPers (commentators really), but it's the basic format of video game and talking about it. I really like them. I actually unsubscribed to HC not long ago

Darn, I came in to recommend raocow. His videos are hilarious.XD Some other good ones: KarmaJolt ( www.youtube.com/user/KarmaJolt) -He updates infrequently, but when he posts a new video, they're well worth the wait. Slowflake ( www.youtube.com/user/Slowflake) -He mostly plays Pokémon games, and man, he knows everything about Pokémon. His rants on Pokémon are always fun to hear. His voice may be a bit annoying at first, but you'll learn to love it.

I just subbed to Slowflake. I enjoy Hellfire Comms a lot, actually, but I'm too lazy to catch up with the 5-some odd LPs they have going on right now so imma hold off on that.

My favorite LPer was WaluiJ, but his account was deleted for some reason. I miss him and his silly Megaman X LPs... And he was about to do a Majora's Mask LP too!

I like HCBailly's Let's Plays a lot. He knows his stuff when it comes to Final Fantasy and what other games he plays, and he updates constantly. I also appreciate that he cuts or fast forwards through the less interesting parts (random encounters and such) while still talking to basically everyone.

I usually only watch a Let's Play when I need a tip or two with a game I'm working on. Technically, you can count my streams as Let's Plays because it's basically the same thing, only live. (And newer streams have commentary!)

Hmm...I've never actually watched an offical LP, but I would recommend (if you are into Resident Evil 4) NintendoCentral. According to him, he has played through the game numerous times, so he obviously knows what he's doing. He is also incredibly funny, whether it be random comments "MILK!" or his "catchphrase" "BOOM! ----shot!" (*---- is replaced with whatever body part was shot) www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=54B2FB001ADA2843&search_query=NintendoCentralNote: it's a Chicago Typewriter walkthrough, so he only uses two different weapons, both with infinite ammo. It will be tougher than it looks. He also started a SMG walkthrough, but ended shortly after defeating Bowser with around only 50 stars. His account was abandoned (due to him being away from it for half a year and forgetting the password ) and has changed it to milkwad. www.youtube.com/user/milkwadHe does the occasional walkthrough now.

I find Let's Plays fairly boring.
I don't mind live streams, or Let's Play-esque videos that don't have commentary.

HC has a higher FF IQ than most people, I must say. Even I have not played many of the newer FF's.

I would with all means do more LPs, but camstudio doesn't want to work with me. Maybe in the summer. Any of you guys want to suggest a game for me to play (preferably SNES, I would like to do DKC)

I think LP's are best for RPG's for some reason..... Obviously. The reason why? LPer playing MMX (2d action platformer): "Okay, I'm jumping now. Okay, I'm gonna shoot him. He's dead now, right, let's move on." LPer playing Madden NFL 0#: " I think I'm gonna do... that play. Yeah, this will do well." (30 seconds later) "and... GO! Pass it, and -- NO! HE MISSED! UGH! All right, next play..." Need I continue?
