Or have a sequel. For me, I'd have to say something from the "old skool" days of video games: 1996 (  ). If anyone has ever played this game, then they'll know what kinds of fun I'm talking about. What I'm talking about is the Playstation game, Tomba! 2: The Evil Swine Returns.That game was freakin' epic. A wierd yet imaginative and great story (one that makes me look at it now and scratch my head in disbelief), memorable characters, tons of powerups, and some of the best music I've ever heard. Sure the graphics were a little bad, being released mere months before the PS2, and some of the voice acting, something the original Tomba! lacked, was kind of cheesy. But hey! Throwing evil pigs into a bag and gaining their magical powers? What more could you ask for when you were in elementary school! Of course, my old PS one is nothing more than a pile of useless plastic, so the only time I've been able to enjoy the game (yes, I still own it), is at my cousin's house, with their fully intact PSone. And of course, I am going to a video game college. One project we are supposed to do is create our very own game/remake a game. I don't think I need to tell you what I'm doing. Discuss what games you wish were remade/had a sequel in this topic! |

I would die for a sequel to Final Fantasy 6 and 9, (there´s a sequel for FF4 coming to wiiware!!, it´s been out in Japan for cellphones for a while.)

My idea for the following games listed is for there to be an improvement/sequel on the same basis as the original. Yes, I'm fully aware that nearly everything I list already has sequel(s).
Mother 3
Link's Awakening / Oracle of Ages / Oracle of Seasons -- Phantom Hourglass doesn't count. Something like how they were back on the game boy.
Legend of the Mystical Ninja
Super Mario World
Wario Land II/III
Super Mario RPG
Mario Paint
Pokemon Stadium series -- Battle Revolution does not count; that was just disappointing.

Sonic the Hedgehog, ala Mega Man 9. Classic SEGA/Genesis style, downloadable.
The series died after Sonic & Knux... 3D Blast sucked, the Sega Saturn didn't even have a Sonic game, the Adventure ones were just 'good', the Advance ones were an ok novelty, and everything after Heroes is just pure crap.
