Ok, As you guys may or may not know, I am working on Improving my Soundfont. So far, A LOT of work has been put into it. You guys don't even know.
Ok, so I kept finding problems and such on Version one. The Piranha Plant sound [Saxophone] Kept buggin out. If you try to play it on the higher notes, sometimes it won't play at all. Also, like a few people have said, There have been Volume Problems between the other Instruments. the Shy Guy Orchestra and the Yoshi Flute were both decently loud. In V2, they are already softened. Another Volume Problem was with the Swan Oboe. The Oboe was pretty Soft, but Now its at a better Volume.
Ok, So there was another thing that somebody pointed out, and that's that the Flute was kinda low in Pitch for the fact that it IS a Flute. So Now it is at a slightly higher Pitch.
Ok, Now here is a MAJOR update on the Soundfont. I took out all three of the Piano Parts cuz they were Big in Size. Not only that but they WERE taken from Gallahaut's Stienway Piano Soundfont. So to replace the Piano set, I have gotten a new Piano Set. This set is ripped from a Roland MP60 64-Voice Piano. I think it has great Quality and is very Clear. I guess you guys can be the judge of that when the time comes around.
Next up is the fact that currently, I have Spots to fill in the Soundfont. I have taken out some of the Instruments that I didn't quite see as a fit. Either that, or they were cheap ripoffs of other Soundfonts. So right now, I am looking for a Nice instrument that I can possibly put on the Gameboy. I have ideas for the other Instruments but I'm flat out of em so the Gameboy is still blank. The General Theme I'm aiming for here is some kind of Orchestra thing.
Now, with the above thoughts in mind, I still need a name for the Soundfont. Herty140 HAS suggested a name, but I want to see what you guys can come up with. I'm possibly looking for a name that fits into the fact that most of the Instruments are Orchestral. Also, something I almost forgot. A list of the Current Instruments:
Mario Head: Mid-Piano
Mushroom: Percussion Set A=Kick Drums, Toms, Bongos, Congas, WoodBlock, Cow Bell
Yoshi: Flute Extend [Fixed in Pitch and Volume. I think I may have gotten rid of some of the Delay]
Star: High Piano
FireFlower: [Searching for a Proper Trumpet. If you know where I can find a good Sample, Suggest away]
Gameboy: {NEEDS A SUGGESTED INSTRUMENT}
Dog: Flugelhorn
Cat: Clarinet
Pig: Violin {NEW}
Swan: Oboe
Baby Face: Synth Choir Thingy, xD
Plane: Cello {New one, not the Cheap Ripoff}
Boat: Percussion B=Crash Symbols, Reverse Symbol, Snares, Hats, Timpani
Car: Ball Park Electric Organ {I still like this sound too much. It's an Electric Organ. Don't like it? Sue me, =P}
Heart: Contrabassoon {NEW}
Piranha Plant: Tenor Sax {NEW}
Coin: Wooden Xylophone {I wasn't liking the sound of the other one all that much. So I replaced it. I got the Wooden Xylophone while working on another Project, which you guys should be able to see later today, Feb 25th}
Shy Guy: Drawn String Section {I think I got rid of the Delay}
Boo: Low Piano
