i like how you've used such a wide variety of soundfonts for your composition repertoire and seem to know the nuances, tricks and strengths of each one. it's a bit of an intangible thing that i find endearing about your compositions, so i hope you don't mind me diving into a convoluted explanation that probably won't clear things up anyway you see, i like to think of each soundfont having its own little "technique meter". when one first downloads a soundfont blind, this technique meter is empty. however, as he or she starts fooling around with the soundfont, listening to all the notes, fiddling with instrument combinations, cutoffs, sustains, etc., his or her soundfont technique meter starts filling up. if he or she uploads a composition that explores some of the neat tricks of a soundfont, other people can build off their techniques, boosting a "universal technique meter". if every single nuance of a soundfont has been explored, then technique meter is completely full; but that has never occurred with any legitimate soundfont thus far, and i don't believe any soundfont will hit a skill ceiling anytime soon, if ever. the original soundfont has by and large the most complete technique meter, which is why i think many people prefer the original soundfont for composing - it's the most familiar (the white space of each bar is a rough estimation of how many "nuances" of each soundfont have yet to be discovered - the more the white space disappears through discoveries, the harder it becomes to chip away at it, which explains the "increasing at a decreasing rate" of technical quality in mario paints since MPC's conception in late 2007) phazon's compositions are often in the very top range of the technique meter at the time of their release, but that isn't uncommon for talented composers. in fact, it's common to see a composer who is incredible with the original soundfont, but when he composes with other soundfonts, his compositions don't seem to capture the essence of what makes his original soundfont songs so great - creativity, experimentation, working around restrictions, and the like. this isn't the case with phazon, however, who packs the same creativity and ambition that are found in stellar original soundfont songs in his non-original soundfont songs, a rare thing to see in mario paint, largely because it takes quite a bit of time and work to fill the technique meter of an unfamiliar soundfont if you were to total the area of all the "technique meters" that phazon has filled in with his uploaded compositions, that number would likely be higher than almost any other composer. that's the simplest way i can think of stating why phazon is a great composer 98% (+4 namisphinx +1 mediamunkee)

That would be a cool new RtC variation. : o People would rate a person's stats.
Example:
Name: John Doe Type: Multi-Talented
Stats (Out of 50) ----------------------
Instrumentation: 40 Accuracy: 45 Volume Control: 35 Wow Factor: 27 Creativity: 50
Magic (Out of 50) --------
Original: 43 Plus/Orchestra: 35 Real/Symphony: 14 Piano: 9 Rock: 41 Electronica: 29 Custom: 3
Specialties (Out of 50) ----------------
Dickspeed: 42 Low-Speed: 25 OCing: 35 Transposing: 39 Remixing: 50 MPCing By Ear: 33
Lol, that would be so cool.

If that were to happen, then we'd have to rate every single composer from #1 again, not that that's a bad thing, now that there are many more people who can actually rate here.
