IMO Sunshine was better than Galaxy. Galaxy was missing some things (YOSHI) and it was too easy to get stars. Sunshine was very fun, and hard. I have yet to get the last 4 shine sprites. Both games are great though.

I thought Sunshine was boring to be honest. And yes, Kuribo's Shoe. The BEST Mario powerup ever. I can't believe you're saying this when your favorite is Galaxy. How mediocre and repetitive can one game get? You think much differently than everyone else, heat. Sunshine wasn't BAD per se, but it just didn't feel right. It was rather repetitive and tedious, and FLUDD just felt like a burden you had to bear the whole game. Galaxy , on the other hand, was platforming at its finest. Plenty of variety, awesome atmosphere, fun levels, and many secrets made the game as good as it was. But I guess we disagree

Both games are great though. He was horrible in Sunshine. I would rather have no Yoshi than a crappy one. And I found Sunshine to be more frustrating than hard. Galaxy had a perfect difficulty level. Not too easy, not too difficult. And the later stages are actually pretty challenging.

Here's what I think. You think much differently than everyone else, ninja. Galaxy wasn't BAD per se, but it just didn't feel right. It was rather repetitive and tedious, and the planet-jumping thing just felt like a burden you had to bear the whole game. Sunshine, on the other hand, was platforming at its finest. Plenty of variety, awesome atmosphere, fun levels, and many secrets made the game as good as it was. But I guess we disagree

Nintendo Power, Electric Gaming Monthly, IGN. That, and, it's the tenth top selling video game in the U.S. Also-- just recently(In an article about the Mario series) Game Informer called Sunshine "the best Mario game to date".

I beg to differ. According to Game Rankings. Sunshine had more reviews on the lower ends of the spectrum (50-89%), while Galaxy had no reviews below 90%

Game Rankings isn't exactly credible. I actually went to IGN and saw that Galaxy has a lower ranking.
Plus I usually take Game Informer's word.

Here's the thing about Galaxy. It was a great game. But it repeated the "BOWSER STOLE THE PRINCESS NAO GO SAVE HER" feeling. Which is getting annoying. At least in Sunshine you didn't go there to save her. You went there for vacation and Mario gets charged with polluting the city. ONLY THEN does Shadow Mario/Bowser Jr. steal the princess because he thinks shes his Mom. Sunshine had a more original storyline which made it awesome.

Everybody has his own tastes, I guess. I'm just happy SOMEONE agrees with me that SMB3 is overrated.
