So...what do you listen to? What are the musical preferences of the Mario Paint Hangout? Let's find out! Try to list 25 of your favorite bands (preferably in some sort of order). By comparing and contrasting people's responses, we can perhaps find a favorite band for the hangout or at least get a good idea of what people like to listen to.

...Balloon had a great idea! Okay, optional challenge: Post a song to go with each band that you choose. Please limit it to one and only one. I know I've heard of a lot of bands through friends; if we'd want to check out music from each other's bands, knowing a song someone else likes could get us to appreciate a lot more music that way.
Here's mine:
1. Muse -- Take A Bow
2. System of a Down -- Dreaming
3. The Mars Volta -- Day of the Baphomets
4. Queen -- The Prophet's Song (unusual pick, but I love the vocal canon in the middle)
5. Radiohead -- A Wolf At The Door
6. Bloc Party -- Zephyrus
7. Les Claypool -- David Makalaster (it also has a II)
8. The Offspring -- Pretty Fly (for a White Guy)
9. Dream Theater -- Octavarium (even though it's 24:00, every second is astounding)
10. Modest Mouse -- Bukowski (not a hit, but one of my favorite songs to listen to, love the lyrics)
11. Bitman and Roban -- Get On The Floor
12. Pink Floyd -- Us And Them
13. Rush -- YYZ
14. Coldplay -- 42
15. Trio -- Da Da Da I Don't Love You You Don't Love Me Aha Aha Aha
16. The B52's -- Rock Lobster
17. The Feeling -- Sewn
18. Squeeze -- Cool for Cats
19. Michael Jackson -- Billie Jean
20. Tool -- Schism
21. Sublime -- DATE RAPE (it's hilarious, pay attention to the lyrics)
22. The Prototypes -- Kaleidoscope
23. OMC -- How Bizarre
24. Kylie Minogue -- Can't Get You Out of My Head
